Experience Design Manager

As an Experience Design Manager with a decade of experience in the digital space, Jaspreet has navigated roles from project management to product management before finding her true calling in UX design. She was the first UX Designers hired into her current team and has a vast amount of experience working with various financial service product teams.

Her favourite part of the design process is Discovery, as it's an opportunity to think of innovative ideas and conduct research, which allows the team to validate their thinking.

While pioneering the UX team, she discovered her real passion lies in helping designers grow. Thanks to her background in Psychology and Digital Media as well as her own experience switching careers into UX, she has a vast amount of knowledge to share and loves to help designers level up their skills. She was recently recognised as a Top 10 Mentor in Europe on ADPList and is an active member of the London design community.

Actioning the 5 Ws of discovery and definition

What makes effective discovery? How can you achieve the results you're looking for before moving onto design? What should you be considering? These are the questions that will be answered in this interactive session.

We will be exploring multiple methods and activities which are building blocks for discovery and definition. We will be collaborating using a templated approach which will guide you through the various steps to consider for discover, define as well as how to prepare for the later stages of design delivery.
