Designing content for stressful moments

This session explores how to design UX content for users during sensitive and stressful life moments. Kaitlin will talk through her experience designing content for some of life’s most stressful moments: childbirth, divorce, and addiction.

She’ll walk through short, snappy, and fascinating case studies about researching, testing, and iterating designs for each of these scenarios. She’ll get into the complexity of what truly inclusive language looks like, and share some tips for how to get teammates onboard.

By the end of the session, participants will learn:

• The basic tenants of trauma-informed content design.
• A framework for getting your team onboard with inclusive writing.
• Practical tips to make their writing more inclusive.
