Convincing stakeholders to ship awesome UX
Finding the clear steps to take when rolling out large design changes can be tricky; stakeholder management is key to releasing a great UX with healthy change management and avoiding a Frankenstein experience for users.
But managing stakeholders is never easy, and sometimes we compromise the UX for ease of development, speed to deliver, large amounts of variables in an experiment, or simply opinions in the organization.
We will dissect common struggles and pushback UX professionals receive and how to navigate them.
This talk will cover:
- Techniques to manage stakeholder expectations and proactively connect heuristics to conversion rate optimization.
- Methods to appeal to stakeholders driven by logic, emotion, or values.
- Formats of communication that work best with visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learners.
Kevin is speaking on day three, June 12th.
